Good Day, I’m travelling on the way home from Asia today. A belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you! As is usual, we travel to China every January to prepare for the upcoming China New Year. We meet with key suppliers every January and February to assure that our products will ship out on time BEFORE they depart for China New Year. We then go back immediately AFTER China New Year to make sure that the post-holiday return to work happens quickly and efficiently.
Over 25 years of work with Asia has taught us that there is no better way to assure our goods ship on time (before AND after China New Year) than to actually be on the ground, in the factories watching the goods be processed. For Ivars USA, it’s the KEY to our meeting our customer needs during this volatile annual period. It’s also a great time to spend some time with our suppliers, discussing our plans and goals for the upcoming year, and celebrating our successes from the previous year.
We do this for you, our customers who count on us delivering 100% on-time, with perfect quality. We are extremely excited about what 2017 will bring. We are adding engineering and support staff, expanding our offices, and investing in yet even more new software to bet at the cutting-edge of technology in product development and sourcing. We hope to continue to raise the bar in terms of sales, service, and quality for each of you this year!
